I’m Ashley, the owner and head misfit of Mannered Misfits Dog Training.

I am a Certified Professional Dog Trainer - Knowledge Assessed through the Certification Counsel of Professional Dog Trainers and am Fear Free Certified in animal sheltering and rescue. I have been training and working with dogs since 2015, and spent six years employed through the Idaho Humane Society in Boise, ID. My #1 goal is to help you connect with your canine and understand any behavioral challenges you may be experiencing while prioritizing empathy, trust, and safety.

Virtual training is available for clients located anywhere in the country!

Virtual Behavior Consultations

All potential clients who are interested in private training are required to start with a 30 minute primary behavioral consultation. This is held via phone call or video chat.

Day Training

Puppy Home School

Did you just get a new puppy and you’re unsure of where to start with their training? These sessions are designed for puppies ages 8 weeks to 5 months.

"We needed some help with management between our new pup and our 4 year old daughter, plus our older dog. Ashley came over and talked, showed, and had us practice different management techniques and easy redirection tactics we could use. They also helped our daughter understand what to do when the puppy was getting too excited around her.
